Refund and cancellation policy

1- General Framework

HEMAC is an event organised every year in Dijon by the association loi 1901 De Taille et d’Estoc. It is a 4 day event dedicated to Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA), made by HEMA fans for Hema fans, to promote the field. The organisation is made of a team of volunteers, almost all of them being student and unpaid HEMA enthusiasts. Accommodation, caterer and logistic fees are advanced by the association which involve financial commitment. This policy aims to ensure the viability of the event while respecting the constraints of the participants.

2- Cancellation policy

Less than 14 days, all the hotel and caterer services will be billed to the association.

3- Case of emergency

In case of emergency (accident, hospitalisation, the loss of a close relation), by presenting an official supporting document, you will be entirely refunded, even for accommodation and meals.

4- Event cancellation

If the HEMAC had to be cancelled for any reason, everything would be fully refunded. However, transportation fees or personal visa would not be covered.

5- Recommendation

We urge you to get a travel cancellation or personal insurance, especially if you are travelling abroad or if you have travel constraints
